Tournament Bracket

Round 1 has begun! Take a look at the tournament bracket to see who you are VSing!
Round 1 will end on Monday, July 27 or if everyone finishes their games. If you still haven't battled your opponent I will pick one of you at random to move on.

Guidelines

• Playing DBZ LF2 v0.2.3 clean version - no edits
  
• The battles must be recorded and the .lfr files should be uploaded and can either be PM'ed to me or posted in the results
  
• Only 1 person has to post the results of the battle
  
• 3 matches, best of 3  - All 3 matches must be played.
  
• You can use the same or different characters every match or round. As long as using them doesn't break any rules.
  

Format for posting results:

Dragon Power

Just like in Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors 2, each character will use up a certain number of dragon power.

Dragon Power List:

Round 1 Max DP: 15
Quarter-Finals Max DP: 18
Semi-Finals Max DP: 22
Finals Max DP: 28

During the 3 matches your total DP may not exceed the Max DP assigned to those set of battles.
If your DP exceeds the Max DP, you will automatically be disqualified.

Rules

• Total DP may not exceed the assigned limit for that round.
  
• All 3 matches must played.
  
• Transforming only replaces the DP used rather than adding them up. (Base Goku -> SS -> SS2 -> SS3 uses 10 DP not 29)
  
• Vegito and Super Vegito are banned
  
• Each time Krillin's Tri-Form is used, the DP goes up by 1 (That includes the Krillin clones)
  
• Can be played on any background
  
• Base/SS/Super Vegeta [3] - DvJ Grabbing Super Energy Volley bugged attack is now BANNED!
  
• Majin Vegeta [4] - DvJ Grabbing Final Burst Cannon bugged attack is now BANNED!

The winner will get a special rank of "v0.2.3 Champion" + 250 ki
2nd place will get 100 ki

1 question about the Tournament though

so how the Dp is gonna exceed anyways? Same DP for 3 matches in  row or something ?

Max DP for Round 1 is 15. That means you can only use 3 characters that add up to a maximum of 15.
Example, if you pick Ultimate Gohan, you only have 4 DP left for 2 more matches meaning you can only be base form Vegeta [3] for those 2 matches.

Another example of 15 DP would be for match 1: Super Vegeta[3] - match 2: Goku[4] - match 3: Krillin - Total DP: 14 - doesn't exceed the 15 limit.

Okay. I will try to explain it as easily and as simple as possible.

There is a MAX DP Limit depending on which round of the tournament we are currently in.
Round 1: 15 MAX DP
Quarter Finals: 18 MAX DP
Semi-Finals MAX DP: 22
Finals MAX DP: 28

You must have 3 matches against your opponent. Best of 2 wins and moves on to the next round. So in these 3 matches, you pick 3 characters, they can be all the same if you like but the rule is that the total DP of those 3 characters may not exceed the round limit.

Example - SEMI-FINALS: MAX DP 22

Match 1
Player 1 - Goku[4] vs Player 2 - Vegeta[4]
In this battle Player 1's highest transformation used is Super Saiyan 2. That means Player 1 used 8 DP for match 1. Player 2 reaches a maximum of Super Saiyan meaning his DP used is 5 for match 1. Player 1 wins the match.

Match 2
Player 1 total DP used: 8
Player 2 total DP used: 5
Player 1 - SS2 Gohan[5] vs Player 2 - Goku[4]
In this battle Player 2 reaches Super Saiyan 3 and so Player 2 decides to go back to base and power up to Ultimate Gohan to counter Super Saiyan 3 Goku's strength. By the end of the battle Player 1 wins and Player 2 loses but ended up losing as SS Goku because he powered down in the middle of the fight.
Ultimate Gohan uses 11 DP and SS3 Goku uses 10 DP. Because these were the highest forms achieved in the battle these are the DP's used for that battle.

Match 3
Even though Player 1 is winning 2-0, the 3rd match must go on!
Player 1 total DP used: 8 + 11 = 19 DP
Player 2 total DP used: 5 + 10 = 15 DP
Now because the MAX DP allowed is 22 for the semi-finals round. Player 1 is limited to a maximum of 3 DP this match. If he goes over for any reason he will automatically lose not just the match but the entire round. Player 2 on the other had can use a character with a DP of up to 7.

After the matches. 1 person posts the results with the video recording files.
To recap, each fighter uses a specified number of DP, to see the amount used check the tables. You may be below the MAX DP of that round but you may not go above other wise you lose. All 3 matches must be played. You can't use Ultimate Gohan twice in semi-finals and win both matches using 22/22 DP, because then you have 0 DP left to use for match 3 and therefore you forfeit and lose the entire round.

I hope this clarifies things.

1. I will use an app that creates the tournament bracket and it will randomize who versus whom.

okey so that mean the amount of three battles dp should be for example 15 so i need to be careful not to use more than 15 and if i use 15 dp in the first two battles toghter mean that i lost the entire round no matter if i won both of them right?

Yes, because one of the rules states you must play all 3 matches. If you don't have enough DP to pick any character for match 3, you lose.

If you are say 17/22 DP left for Match 3 and you pick Gohan and go Super Saiyan then you have reached 22/22 for Match 3. If you wish to heal, you would have to go back to base then Super Saiyan again. If at any point in Match 3 you went SS2. Your DP would end up 24/22 and you automatically lose.

i need to use the same character for all the matches or i can switch between them in every round ?

You can switch between matches and you can switch between rounds.
As the rounds progress the DP limit increases allowing for stronger characters to be used more often.
